Oversees the coordination of the PTA Board and is the official contact for all PTA questions and correspondence

Assists as the primary aide to the President

Fills in for the President if they are unable.
Treasurer

Maintain and track unit funds and financial transactions.

Pays all PTA bills as authorized by the board or association.

Prepares and presents monthly reports and an annual financial report using PTEZ, which training can be provided.

Ensures taxes and reports required by PTA bylaws, insurance or federal and state governments are completed and submitted by the due dates.

Financial Secretary

Makes deposits at the bank

Keeps a record of all PTA funds collected, deposited and disbursed in PTEZ

Presents monthly reports at meetings

Recording Secretary

Records the minutes during every meeting and tracks attendance.

This person must attend every meeting.
Auditor

Review and audit the PTA financial records to ensure accuracy on an annual basis.

Present and file results of audit to the board and association for adoption

Financial background is helpful, but not required
Historian

Advises the president on parliamentary procedure as laid out in the PTA bylaws

Arranges nominating committee’s first meeting, providing information on the nomination and election process.
